Total Worker Health® Professional Program

Description

After completing this program, you will be prepared to apply the Total Worker Health (TWH) approach, applied solutions that advance worker health, safety, and well-being. This training, developed by experts at the Colorado School of Public Health, delivers professionals essential tools to create thriving workplaces. Designed for working professionals seeking on-demand training, this program will help you understand the benefits of the (TWH) approach and how to masterfully apply it in any organization.

The online course will cover:

An introduction to TWH
Skills and case studies on how to design a customized, inclusive, and effective TWH program
How to engage management and workers in TWH
How to maintain a culture of TWH in different industries

Designed for professionals across disciplines including safety, occupational health, human resources, wellness, and executive leadership.

This course is divided into three modules. Each module takes approximately two hours to complete. The entire course takes about six hours to complete. After finishing the course, you will receive a certificate of completion.

Continuing Education Credit

This course eligible for CHES, CIH, CPH, CSP, and SHRM continuing education credit.

CHES Credit

Sponsored by The Center for Health, Work & Environment, a designated provider of continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is designated for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES®) to receive up to 6 total Category I contact education contact hours.

Please indicate on the post-course survey if you are claiming CHES credit and provide your CHES number.CHES certificates are issued by email every 30 days, and credit is reported to NCHEC quarterly based on their policies and requirements.

SHRM Credit

This course is worth 6 SHRM PDC. After completing the post-course survey, you will be given an access code you can use to apply for SHRM credit.

CME and CNE Credit

Completion of the the full three module course qualifies individuals for CME and CNE credits. Please indicate that you wish to claim CME or CNE in the post-event survey. Credits will be issued on a monthly basis via email.
